Payment & Fees

What is your hourly rate?

Currently all of my art & design offerings start at $150/hr. Creative consultation rates start at $75/hr. An example of these rates applied: A custom logo & branding project starting at $3000 (research & development, conceptual designs, drafts, revisions, weekly meetings, and final deliverables packaged for use). All project fees vary based on each clients needs, and final fees are determined after project scope is discussed and agreed upon.

How do clients pay for creative services?

All of my creative services are billed and securely paid for via Honeybook.com. Clients also have the option of paying via check but may experience additional waiting periods in the design timeline for payments to clear.

Do you offer reduced rates/sliding scale?

Yes! Each month I allot a limited amount of 25% reduced rates to those whose budgets may be restricted. If you are interested in a reduced rate or have any questions please email me at info@lovici.com. Priority will be given to B/I/POC and/or LGBTQ+ owned businesses.

Do you require a deposit for projects?

All of my projects require a non-refundable 50% deposit which secures a place in the calendar.

Do you offer payment plans?

After the deposit is made all clients have the option to set up milestone payments throughout the project timeline which can be paid via Honeybook.com. The remaining payments can be divided into as many parts as the client would like throughout the length of the project.

Meetings & Timelines

How often do you have meetings with clients?

Once the project scope is defined, I like to create a week by week schedule for the entirety of the project. This schedule often involves a weekly check-in meeting (30-60 minutes) over the phone or via email. Meeting days are set on the same day of the week, usually M-Th anytime from 12-3 EST. Schedules are created at the beginning of every project and my hope is to be flexible while staying on track for specific goals & deadlines.

When does the project officially start?

After project scope is approved, the 50% deposit is made, and once the contract is signed by both the client and myself the project officially begins.

How long does branding take?

Big question with lots of factors! Each branding project will have unique needs but for example it would take about 7+ weeks for a logo and color palette to be created for a new client. For any project my clients and I undergo a thorough research and development phase so that we have a strong foundation when we enter the design phase. Prep work goes a long way!

Contracts

Do you require a contract with your projects?

I include a standard contract for all creative collaborations. These contracts are sent via email through Honeybook.com and can be signed electronically.

How do your clients get in touch with you?

My clients are encouraged to communicate with me via email and cell phone. I make efforts to reply to emails swiftly and answer phone calls within my office hours of 11am-3pm M-Th.

What is it like to work with you?

Hopefully fun and rewarding! I try my best to connect and work with clients who I believe to be kindred spirits and hold similar values to mine. I work with many fellow artists, creatives, and/or people who are passionate in their field of expertise. I acknowledge that my creative work is an investment, and that finding the right fit can be a lot of work before collaboration even begins.

It is deeply important to me that every stage of the process is clearly communicated, checked-in on, and agreed upon as we move through. Meetings are organized, tasks are clearly delegated, and check-ins are frequent.

Throughout all of this, I am a person who enjoys the work that I do and my hope is that my clients feel that too.
